What We Do
Our Meals That Heal Program allows groups of up to 8 individuals to prepare a meal here at Ronald McDonald House Westchester in our kitchen. In-House meals relieve the stress of grocery shopping, reduce financial strain, and allow families to return from long days at the hospital to a warm, comforting meal.
Volunteers are able to choose their own menu, and are responsible for purchasing food and ingredients to prepare brunch, dinner, or baked goods for 35-40 people. The House is equipped with a full kitchen and is stocked with pots, pans, bake ware, and utensils.
By signing up to prepare a meal, you're doing more than cooking – you're providing comfort, stability, and care when it's needed most.
